Windows Ransomware - "Wannacrypt"

After the recent ransomware attack it is important that Windows XP and Windows 8 (not 8.1) users should install Microsoft's official security patch. More information can be found at https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/…/customer-guidance-fo…/

Customers using Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 should have received the update in March 2017 via Windows Update as precautionary measure, although Microsoft have announced that the ransomware is not known to yet affect Windows 7, 8.1 or 10

If you need help installing the patch or have fallen victim to the recent ransomware please contact us on 0333011649 or email info@maztechuk.co.uk
